RVs OneRVBuyer Considers
What RVs Can OneRVBuyer Consider in Colorado?
You do not need to repair an RV before requesting an offer. Describe its current condition accurately, including known wear, damage, or whether it does not run.
OneRVBuyer’s Colorado coverage is statewide service coverage. It does not mean OneRVBuyer maintains Colorado offices, dealerships, yards, branches, or local teams. See the Locations page for nationwide service-area context.
Access circumstances can differ between the Front Range, mountain communities, and the Western Slope. CDOT describes the I-70 Mountain Corridor as a 144-mile route between the Denver metropolitan area and Glenwood Springs through the Rocky Mountains. If the RV is non-running, blocked in place, or stored somewhere with difficult access, include that information when requesting an offer.

Colorado Title Guidance
Check the Colorado Title Before the Sale Moves Forward
Check whose name appears on the title, whether a lien or title brand is shown, and whether the RV is self-propelled or towable. Colorado handles most personal title transactions through county motor vehicle offices, and some requirements differ by vehicle type.
Colorado’s Division of Motor Vehicles says counties handle most title and registration transactions for personal vehicles. That makes the seller’s county motor vehicle office an important official resource when transaction-specific questions arise.
Odometer disclosure is one area where RV type matters. For model-year 2011 and newer vehicles, Colorado generally requires odometer disclosure during ownership transfers for the first 20 years of the vehicle’s life. Current exemptions include vehicles that are 20 years old or older, vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating above 16,000 pounds, and trailers that are not self-propelled.
A travel trailer or fifth wheel therefore should not automatically be treated the same as a self-propelled motorhome for odometer disclosure. Use the current Colorado vehicle title guidance for the specific RV and transaction.
If the title is missing, shows an active lien, contains a brand, or otherwise presents an ownership issue, tell OneRVBuyer before the transaction is finalized so the required paperwork can be confirmed.
What Happens to Colorado License Plates After the Sale?
Colorado tells sellers to remove their license plates when a vehicle is sold. A seller may also voluntarily report the transfer through Colorado’s Report Release of Liability service within five days of the sale. The report is separate from transferring the title to the new owner.
If the Colorado Title Is Missing or Shows a Lien
Colorado provides duplicate-title services, while active liens and other ownership situations can change what documentation is needed.
Mention a missing title, active lien, or other ownership issue before the transaction is finalized. OneRVBuyer can confirm the paperwork required for the individual transaction.
If the Colorado Title Is Branded
If an RV has a title brand, tell OneRVBuyer when requesting the offer. Colorado uses the DR 2710 Branded Title Disclosure Statement for branded vehicles and recognizes statuses including salvage, rebuilt from salvage, flood, non-repairable, and other brands.
Colorado also has a separate rebuilt-from-salvage process. The state’s DR 2415 checklist includes a certified VIN inspection and specific instructions for Class A motorhomes and trailers. A branded title does not mean every RV automatically qualifies for purchase.
Selling an RV in Colorado Starts With the Right Information
Have the RV details, current condition, location, and ownership situation ready. Colorado title and disclosure rules make it useful to check the title early, especially if the RV is towable, has a lien, or carries a title brand.
Colorado RV Condition
Colorado RV Damage Worth Mentioning When You Request an Offer
If your RV has known hail damage, freeze-related problems, water intrusion, flood exposure, or another condition issue, describe it when requesting an offer. You do not need to repair the RV before starting the process.
Colorado conditions do not mean an RV has damage. What matters is the condition of your particular unit.
The National Weather Service identifies Colorado flood hazards including flash flooding, river flooding, burn-scar debris flows, and ice or debris jams. Report actual known exposure or damage rather than assuming statewide weather conditions apply to every RV.
