What RVs Can Be Submitted?
OneRVBuyer considers common motorized and towable RVs, including older, damaged, worn, and non-running units.
The RV does not need to be repaired before you start. Describe it as it sits today and disclose known mechanical, exterior, interior, water, storm, or other condition issues accurately.
Motorhomes
Class A, Class B, Class C, and other motorized RVs can be considered.
Travel Trailers and Fifth Wheels
Travel trailers and fifth wheels are included in OneRVBuyer’s published RV categories.
Other RV Types and Conditions
Toy haulers, campers, and other recreational vehicles may also be submitted. Older, worn, damaged, and non-running RVs are included in the published condition categories.
Use the RV’s Actual Location
Denton City Limits and Denton County Are Different
An RV can be located in Denton County without being inside the City of Denton. That distinction matters when deciding whether City parking or inoperable-vehicle rules apply.
For an offer request, provide the location where the RV is physically stored. If it is at a storage facility, repair facility, another residence, or another municipality, give that location rather than only the seller’s home address.

If a Motorhome Is Stored at Home
Check Denton’s Motor-Vehicle Parking Rules
For property inside Denton city limits, current City guidance says motor vehicles parked or stored in a yard must be entirely on an improved surface paved with concrete or asphalt.
This can matter when a motorhome is kept at a Denton residence while the owner prepares to sell it. See the City of Denton parking guidance for the current rule.
The City also publishes separate requirements for inoperable and junked vehicles. Its current guidance says an inoperable motor vehicle that remains inoperable for more than 30 consecutive days becomes a junked vehicle. If you are selling a long-term non-running motorhome, check how the current City rules apply to that specific vehicle and property. Do not assume these motor-vehicle provisions automatically apply in the same way to every towable travel trailer or fifth wheel.
These City rules apply within Denton jurisdiction. An RV elsewhere in Denton County may be subject to another municipality’s rules.
City Rules and County Title Services Have Different Roles
The City of Denton handles relevant municipal property rules, while the Denton County Motor Vehicle Office processes title transfers. Its main office is at 1505 E. McKinney Street in Denton. The underlying title requirements remain Texas state requirements rather than City of Denton rules.
Know the RV’s Current Title Situation
Before a transaction moves forward, know what ownership document you have and whether a lien, missing-title issue, or other ownership complication exists. For a towable RV, title requirements can depend on factors such as gross weight and whether the trailer was previously titled.

Denton has documented flash-flood susceptibility and severe-weather warning criteria, but neither establishes that a particular RV has damage.
The useful question is whether the RV actually experienced water, hail, wind, debris, or another damaging event.
The City identifies flood-hazard areas mainly along Cooper Creek, Pecan Creek, North Pecan Creek, Hickory Creek, Dry Fork Hickory Creek, and their tributaries. It also says Denton is especially susceptible to flash floods. See the City of Denton flood protection information.
Denton outdoor warning criteria include hail of at least 1.5 inches, wind speeds above 70 mph, and National Weather Service tornado warnings. These are warning criteria, not proof that an RV was affected. See the City of Denton emergency warning systems.
Flood or Water Exposure
If the RV experienced flooding, standing water, roof leakage, wall leakage, or another water event, describe what happened and what you can observe now.
Hail
If hail actually affected the RV, report known roof impacts, exterior dents, damaged vents or skylights, cracked components, or resulting water entry.
Wind or Debris
If the RV was actually affected, report known awning, roof, window, exterior, or debris-related damage.
Location Is Not Proof of Damage
Local hazard information provides context. It should not be used to diagnose damage from location alone.
