What RVs Can You Submit for an Offer?
OneRVBuyer’s current service information includes motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, campers, and other RVs. Clean, older, worn, damaged, and non-running RVs may also be considered.
Describe the RV as it sits today. Known mechanical problems, exterior damage, water intrusion, winter-related damage, or a non-running condition should be included when they apply.
Physical condition and title status are separate issues. An RV can have physical damage without automatically having a salvage title, and a repaired RV can still have a prior title brand.

Motorhomes

North Dakota Title Issues to Check Before the Sale
Check whether the title is available, whether it is paper or electronic, how the current owners are listed, and whether a lien remains recorded. Additional documentation can depend on the RV type and circumstances.
North Dakota Motor Vehicle uses Part 1, Assignment and Warranty of Title for seller-side title assignment. The seller information includes the required signatures and transaction details, such as buyer information, date of sale, and selling price. North Dakota law permits certificates of title in paper or electronic form. If the title is electronic, tell OneRVBuyer before the transaction is finalized so the ownership situation can be considered when the required paperwork is confirmed. See North Dakota Chapter 39-05.
If more than one owner appears on the title, the signatures needed can depend on how the owners are listed. Review the actual title rather than assuming one owner’s signature is always enough. North Dakota also instructs a seller to remove the license plates when ownership is transferred.
Motorhomes and Towable RVs Can Have Different Paperwork
Current NDDOT odometer guidance includes qualifying motorhomes from model year 2011 and newer, while non-self-propelled vehicles are listed as exempt. North Dakota also has separate statutory title provisions for travel trailers.
Existing Lien
North Dakota provides procedures for releasing a recorded security interest, including procedures involving electronic lien notification. Tell OneRVBuyer about a known lien before transaction completion rather than assuming the title is already clear.
Missing Title
North Dakota provides a duplicate-title process when a certificate of title has been lost, stolen, mutilated, destroyed, or becomes illegible. A missing title should be raised during the offer process rather than treated as proof that ownership documentation can be skipped.
Do not assume that a bill of sale automatically replaces a properly assigned title. NDDOT uses title documentation as a central part of normal ownership transfer, and the correct documents depend on the transaction.
Hail Damage and Salvage Status Are Different Questions in North Dakota
Hail damage does not automatically make a North Dakota vehicle salvage. North Dakota law excludes hail and glass damage when determining whether damage exceeds the 75 percent retail-value threshold used in the salvage-title rule.
Hail can still matter greatly to an RV’s actual condition. Roof damage, damaged vents, exterior dents, broken seals, or resulting water intrusion should be described when they are present.
Damage Disclosure for Recent Qualifying Motor Vehicles
Recent qualifying motor vehicles may require SFN 18609, Damage/Salvage Disclosure Statement. The form is tied to qualifying recent motor vehicles and should not be presented as a universal form for every RV.
Previously Salvaged Title History
If a vehicle with a salvage certificate is reconstructed through the applicable North Dakota process, the resulting regular title and subsequent titles can carry the words previously salvaged.
The useful seller distinction is straightforward: describe physical condition accurately and identify known title history separately.

The relevant state agency is the North Dakota Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division. Before the transaction is completed, identify the RV type, title status, any recorded lien, and any known title or damage history.
